When I first started using a ghillie suit for paintball, it bothered me when I turned my head, the adjusting buckle on the back of my face mask would catch on the inside of my hood. Or sometime when I would turn my head, the hood would obstruct my view.
Now when I get a ghillie suit for paintball I remove the hood. Many (not all) hoods are attached to the ghillie suit simply by being tied on with ghillie fibers. Once the hood is removed I attach it to the visor on my headgear, either by tying to louvered slots on the visor or with a little adhesive. Now I have ease of mobility and unobstructed view
If your ghillie suit doesn’t have a hood, or you don’t want to remove it, you can make a hood with a ghillie suit kit and use the remaining material for a marker wrap.
